The riders, the volunteers

The following individuals are braving the elements and riding about 1700km over rough terrain over 18 days:

Preparing for Wings on the Road


The organising committee for Wings on the Road would like to thank Adventure Collective for their assistance with the preparation of this adventurous and challenging journey. The planning is running well with 3 cars secured and at least 6 volunteers expressing interest to assist. As with all these journeys a lot of preparation is involved. We have at least 12 riders now registered. We are also finalising the event risk assessment, procedures, emergency plan and then moving on to all our equipment, food and provision needs. This blog will track the rider's journey and we will be updating it at every opportunity. Our itinerary (subject to change) to date is:
